3 Ways to Stop Regretting your Reaction or Action

This is it! I came to a par value of system, where I need to open up about somethings. It’s my real-time experience, which I felt Today. It’s somewhat a great learning for me. I had some discussion with one of my colleague while coming to office. He was abusive in his language without listening what was my point. And hence he started using abusive language. I remain calm and be objective due to his anger he reacted on me. “I thought if I through a stone in mud, mud will come over me”
So I remain calm whole the time, didn’t utter anything abusive or insulting. However, by his immature nature he reacted and spread everything in office. Somehow our bosses get to know whole issue and interfered in it. Now he is in regrets and I am being appreciated for my patience and calm behavior.
Than I thought why don’t I can help people to overcome the regrets which my dear colleague is going through right now.

These are the three ground rule of overcoming your regrets!!

1)” Don’t speak until you really listen/understand others”
It’s very easy to react, because your mind is made of all the hormones which leads you to become animal or a social animal. It’s you who chose alternatives. Losing your cool makes you animal, and afterward you realize and regret over it, it’s already late. You can’t change past.so better chose words wisely when communicating. Diversity is sometimes curse if you do not understand other, by nonverbal communication or by language. Whatever it is, first try to understand what somebody is conveying, if you don’t understand ask them about it. Being judgmental can never help you, it will always lead you to regrets!! Lots and lots.

2)” Admit your mistakes”
Admitting your mistakes is the best way to overcome regrets. Introspect yourself and think, was it right to react? Believe me it will help you to know yourself better, and be satisfied by yourself, I personally believe that if you are on a wrong path just try to reach at the right one rather going for the wrong path. People think they can’t change, but yet again everybody changes as per their comfort zone, come out of it, face the real world than only you can realize the changes and improvements which can be felt only out of the box!

“Admitting Mistakes Let Us Know the Area Where Improvement Needed”

3)” Step forward and move on”
Living in past is the worst problem with all kind of people. Try to take yourself out of the cage! Nobody is perfect. I believe everybody are eligible for a 2nd chance. Try to give yourself another chance. Move on to next level and try to improve what went wrong last time. This fills you with all enthusiasm and hence growth comes in the picture. Moving on can be a heal as well as lesson in life to achieve the place where you can be satisfied with your perseverance.
“Try to evaluate yourself at micro level results will be reflected on your life at macro level” life is what we chose not what others chose from us. Be different but recognizable.

“Life is never what looks from inside, it’s always what you perceive from outside”
